Jananyacharya Indological Research Foundation
Established in 2008 in the name of a 13th century Saint Ayee Jananyacharya who belonged to Melkote in the state of Karnataka with a sole intention of undertaking advanced study and academic research in Yoga sastra, Ayurveda and Vedantha. The parent organization Sri Yadavadri Jananyacharya Kainkarya Vardhini Sabha originally established in 1972 is now more concentrating on the temple related activities supporting the temple-kainkaryams established here by Acharya Ramanujacharya 1000 years ago.
Jagadacharya Sri Ramanuja re-established the doctrine of Visistadvaitha emphasizing the union of both ritual based and knowledge based portions of the Vedic literature presenting them as a single doctrine for upliftment of souls. This doctrine, is presented in the form of Granthas.
An archive of Vedic texts accumulated in the last several decades; uploaded to a state-of-art cloud storage to be accessed free suiting both a casual-information- seeker to a scholar promoting research and learning.
SHEMUSHI is an endeavor to rediscover the lost glory of our education system reviving indigenous traditional learning, also to suit the modern world in sustainable ways.
Emberumanaar Koppalu is a Eco-retreat at Melkote in the state of Karnataka with a model community of 60 residences promoted and maintained by people with backgrounds in traditional monasteries promoting dynamic life.
The project Nityavasam was announced in 2014 to promote intellectual population reside at Melkote and this was completed in March 2017 and JIRF handed over the possession.
