Vishesh	Moksha is certain for those who stays for just 1 kadigai (Approx half an hour). at this place. Saptarishis desirous of having darshan of Nrisimha performed Tapas here and were rewarded within one kadigai. Hence this Kshetra is called Kadikachalam and Tirukadigai. Vishwamitra obtained the title of Brahmarishi when he worshipped Lord Nrisimha here for a kadigai. On the hillock nearby is the Sannidhi of Karudaruda Varadaraja. This is an important prathana sthala. People get cured from various diseases as also from haunts of evil spirits.
Route	About 14 kms from Sholinhur railway station on the Madras Bangalore route, but is more easliy approachable by road from Arakonam or Madras.
