Perumal (Lord)	Moolavar – Devadirajan Posture: Standing Thirumugamandalam: East Garudazhwar and Prahaladazhwan are on the Left and Right hand side of the Lord. The Lord is leaning on a mace(Gadha) with His Left hand. Cauvery devi is seen prostrating on the left side. Uthsavar: Amaruviappan with Ubhaya nacchiyar along with beautiful cow nearby.

Vishesh	Avathara sthala of Kamban. The idols of Kamban and his wife are installed inside the temple. Kamban is believed to have lived at Kambanm Medu about a Km nearby the temple. Annual Kamban Conference is held.

Established in 2008, Jananyacharya Indological Research (JIR) Foundation focuses on advanced study and academic research in Yoga sastra, Ayurveda, and Vedantha, named after the 13th-century Saint Jananyacharya from Melkote, Karnataka.
