||Entire Aranya(forest) is considered as Bhagvan and worshipped accordingly. The original temple on which the Azhwar had sung is not seen these days. A bath in the Gomuki river and Chakra Theertham is considered very holy. Sannidhis for Chakrathazwhan, Rama, Seeta and Lakshmana are on the banks of the river. There is a temple for Vedavyasa at Vyaasakattee on way to Gomuki river. This is the place where Vedavyasa, Sukhabrahma delivered Upanyasa and wrote the epic Sri Mahabharata and Srimad Bhagavatam. On the other side of the town is the Purana Mandir where one can have darshan of Sukha Brahman (with Parrots beak). A little away from here on hillock is a huge idol of Hanuman with Rama and Lakshmana on his shoulders .
