Vishesh	This is one among the 11 temples of Tirunangur Tirupati. The Garuda seva on the day following Thai Amavasya is very famous. Then(South) Thiruapthi is another name for this Kshetra and all wishes(Prarthana) for Tirupathi Balaji can get fulfilled by praying here. As per Sthalapurana, shweta, the son of Dundhumara of Suryavamsha was destined to die at the age of 9. He seated below the vilva tree on the banks of pushkarni chanted the Mritunjaya Mantra, after taking the holy bath. Pleased the Lord came in person and offered the boon of Dheeragayus (immortal) like Markandeya. Kumudavallithayar with kumudapushpa, the consort of Tirumangai Azhwar was found here and brought up by a brahmin. There is a shrine for Kumuda Valli at this Kshetra
