śrīmān vēṅkaṭanāthāryaḥ kavitārkikakēsarī. vēdāntācāryavarthōṃ mē sannidhattāṃ sadā hṛdi .

mānatvaṃ bhagavanmatasya mahataḥ puṃsastathā nirṇayastisrassiddhya ātmasaṃvidakhilādhīśānatattvāśrayāḥ .

gītārthasya ca saṃgrahaḥ stutiyugaṃ śrīśrīśayōrityamūlayagranthānanusandadhē yatipatistaṃ yāmunēyaṃ numaḥ.1.

śrīmadvēṅkaṭanāthēna yathābhāṣyaṃ vidhīyatē . bhagavadyāmunēyōktagītāsaṃgraharakṣaṇam . 2 .

tattvaṃ jijñāsamānānāṃ hētubhissarvatōmukhaiḥ . tattvamēkō mahāyōgī harirnārāyaṇaḥ paraḥ . (bhā. śā. 347, 83)

ālōḍaya sarvaśāstrāṇi vicārya ca punaḥ punaḥ . idamēkaṃ suniṣpannaṃ dhyēyō nārāyaṇassadā .. (nā. pu. 18. 34) ityādibhistattvahitarūpaṃ samatādhyātmaśāstrārthasāraṃ maharṣayassaṃjagṛhuḥ . tadētadubhayaṃ sarvōpaniṣatsārasaṅkalanātmikāyāṃ bhagavadgītāyāṃ pratipādyatayā pradarśayaṃstatrāpyupaniṣadāṃ tattvaprādhānyasya śārīrakē sūtritatvādihāpi tatpradhānatayā vyapadiśati ..

. śrīgītārthasaṃgrahaḥ .

svadharmajñānavairāgyasādhyabhaktyēkagōcaraḥ . nārāyaṇaḥ paraṃ brahma gītāśāstrē samīritaḥ . 1 .

svē dharmā: svadharmāḥ-svavarṇāśramaniyataśāstrārthāḥ, svēsvē karmaṇyabhiratassaṃsiddhiṃ labhatē naraḥ . (18.45) iti hi gīyatē . svasya dharma iti samāsēäpyayamēvārthaḥ . jñānamatra paraśēṣataikarasayathāvasthitātmaviṣayam . vairāgyaṃ: paramātmavyatiriktēṣu sarvēṣu viraktiḥ, paramātmani yō raktō ciraktōäparamātmani . (bārha. smṛ.) iti mubhukṣōḥ svabhāvapratipādanāt . tathā ca pātañjalayōgānuśāsanasūtraṃ- ddaṣṭānuśravikaviṣayavitṛṣṇasya vaśīkārasaṃjñā vairāgyam (1. 15) iti . karmayōgaparikarabhūtasyāpi vairāgyasya pṛthagupādānamapavargasya tadanvayavyatirēkānuvidhāyitvēna tatprādhānya jñāpanārthaṃ kandabhūtarāganivṛttyā tanmūlakrōdhādisamastadōṣanivṛttijñāpanārthaṃ ca . tatra svadharmajñānayōḥ prathamaṃ karmayōgajñānayōgarūpēṇāvasthitayōrātmasākṣātkāradvārā bhaktiyōgādhikāranivartakatvēna tatsādhakatvam . tadabhiprāyēṇōktamātmasiddhau–  ubhayaparikarmitasvāntasyaikāntikātyantikabhaktiyōgalabhyaḥ iti . utpannabhaktiyōgānāmapi viśadatamapratyakṣasamānākārasya. tailadhārāvadavicchinnasmṛtisantatirūpasya āprayāṇādanuvartanīyasya aharaharabhyāsādhēyātiśayasya bhaktiyōgasya satvavivṛddhisādhyatayā tadvirōdhirajastamōmūlabhūtapāpanibarhaṇadvārēṇa sattvōpacayahētutayōpakārakatvādātmayāthātmyajñānapūrvakaiḥ parityaktaphalasaṅgakartṛtvādibhiḥ paramapuruṣārādhanaikavē pairnatyanaimittikakarmabhirbhaktērupacīyamānatvavēṣēṇa sādhyatvam . tadētatsarvamabhisandhāyōktaṃ bhagavatā parāśarēṇa -iyāja sōäpi suvahūn yajñān jñānavyapāśrayaḥ. brahmavidyāmadhiṣṭhāya tartuṃ mṛtyumavidyayā .. iti . (vi. 6.6.12) mahanīyaviṣayē prītirbhaktiḥ . * [prīti] snēhapūrvamanudhyānaṃ bhaktirityabhidhīyatē (lai. u. 9.19) iti vacanamapi pūjya viṣayaviśēṣaniyataṃ yōjyam . saiva vēdanōpāsanadhyānādiśabdairadhyātmaśāstrēṣu mōkṣōpāyavidhivākyaissāmānyatō viśēṣataśca pratipādyatē, guruladhuvikalpānupapattēḥ, sāmānyaśabdānāṃ samānaprakaraṇōktaviśēṣaviśramē ca saṃbhavati dvāridvārādikalpanāyōgāt , vidyupāsyōrvyatikarēṇōpakramōpasaṃhāradarśanāt  nididhyāsitavyaḥ (vṛ. 4. 4, 5, 6. 5, 6) ityasya sthānē vijñānaśabdaśravaṇāśca, paramapuruṣavaraṇīyatāhētubhūtaguṇabiśēṣavataiva labhyatvaśrutēśca, tadvaraṇarayāsmin śāstrē bhaktyadhīnatvōktēśca . ēvaṃ sati vēdanētaramōkṣōpāyaniṣēdhakaśrutīnāṃ  bhaktyā tvananyayā śakya ahamēvaṃvidhōärjuna . jñātuṃ draṣṭuṃ ca tattvēna pravēṣṭu ca parantapa .. (gī. 11. 54) ityādismṛtīnāṃ cāvirōdhaḥ . tadētaduktaṃ bhaktyēkagōcara iti . bhaktērēva gōcarō nānyasyētyarthaḥ . ētēna karmasamuccayavākyārthajñānādipakṣāḥ pratikṣiptāḥ . gōcaratvamiha phalatvēna brāhmam , * bhaktyēkalabhyē puruṣē purāṇē (gā. pū. 219. 34) ityādibhiraikarasyāt , bhaktiyōgalabhya iti svōktasaṃvādāśca . upāyatayā phalatayā caikasyaivāvalambanādaiśvaryādyarthabhaktivyavacchēdārthaṃ vātraikaśabdaḥ . atra hyaiśvaryādyarvācīnapuruṣārthagrahaṇaṃ bhūmavidyāyāmiva niratiśayapuruṣārthapratipādanārtham . tadabhiprāyēṇa ca bhāṣyam- paramapuruṣārthalakṣaṇamōkṣasādhanatayā bēdāntōditaṃ svaviṣayaṃ jñānakarmānugṛhītabhaktiyōgamavatārayāmāsa (gī. 1) iti . yadvā niratiśayaiśvaryayuktatayā bhaktyarhatvamiha tadgōcaratvam . aikāntikatvādivyañjanāya tvēkaśabdaḥ .  parāvarajñaṃ bhūtānām (bhā. mō. 229. 7) ityādyuktaparāvaratattvaniścayēna anya bhaktyunmūlanādavyabhicārēṇa ananyaviṣayatvamaikāntikatvam . sātiśayaniratiśayapuruṣārthavivēkēna tadēkabhōgyatayā uttarāvadhirāhityamātyantikatvam . kāraṇavākyasthānāṃ sahbrahmādisāmānyaśabdānāṃ samāna prakaraṇamahōpanipadādipaṭhitābādhitāsaṃbhavadgatyantaranārāyaṇādiviśēṣaśabdārthaviśramaṃ vyañjayituṃ–nārāyaṇaḥ paraṃ brahmēti viśēṣatassāmānyataśca vyapadēśadvayam . anēnāvibhaktikēäpi nārāyaṇānuvākavākyē pūrvāparavākyacchāyānusārācchākhāntarasavisarjanīyapaṭhanāñca vyatatyaṃ vyañjitam . tēna ca sarvaparavidyōpāsyaviśēṣanirdhāraṇārthatayā kēvalaparatattvapratipādanaparanārāyaṇānuvākasiddha ēvāsya śāstrasya viṣayaḥ . tadvibhūtitvēna  viśvamēvēdaṃ puruṣaḥ (tai. nā.) itivatsamānādhikaraṇatayā tatrāmnātānāṃ brahmaśivēndrādīnāṃ nāraśabdārthānāmihāpi  brahmāṇamīśam (gī. 11.15) ityādibhistadvibhūtyēkadēśāśrayatvaṃ pratipādyata iti khyāpitam . uktaṃ ca stōtrē  svābhāvikānavadhikātiśayēśitṛtvaṃ nārāyaṇa tvayi na mṛṣyati vaidikaḥ kaḥ . brahmā śivaśśatamakhaḥ paramasvarāḍityētēäpi yasya mahimārṇavavipruṣuṣastē . (11) iti . saṃvitsiddhau cē advitīyaśrutivyākhyānē ca darśitam–yathā cōkanṛpassamrāḍadvitīyōästi . iti tattulyanṛpatinivāraṇaparaṃ vacaḥ . na tu tatputratadbhatyakalatrādiniṣēdhakam . tathā surāsuranarabrahmabrahmāṇḍakōṭayaḥ . klēśakarmavipākādyairaspṛṣṭasyākhilēśituḥ . jñānādiṣāṅgaṇyanidhēracintyavibhavasya tāḥ . viṣṇōrvibhūtimahimasamudradrapsavipruṣaḥ .. iti . puruṣaniṇayē ca ētatyaprapañcē grāhyaḥ . tadētadyapadēśadvayaṃ  śriyaḥpatirityādinā prārambhabhāṣyēṇa vyākṛtam . ata ēva hi tatrāpi- paraṃ brahma puruṣōttamō nārāyaṇaḥ ityantēna samabhivyāhṛtam . prapañcitamētadasmābhistātparyacandrikāyāmiti nātra vistṛṇīmahē . nirviśēṣaṇasyaiva brahmaśabdasya kāṣṭhāprāptabṛhatvabṛṃhahaṇatvayōgini paramātmanyēva yōgarūḍhatvēäpi tasmādanyatra jīvādau tadguṇalēśayōgādaupacārikaprayōgarūḍhēstadyavacchēdāya param iti viśēṣitam . ēvamēva hyanyatrāpi viśēṣyatē . vyōmātītavādimatanirāsārthaṃ vā paratvōktiḥ . gītaiva tattvahitayōryathāvacchāsanāt gītāśāstram . upaniṣatsamādhinā siddhavyavahāranirūḍhēḥ strīliṅganirdēśaḥ . ētēna śāstrāntarādasya śāstrasyādhikyaṃ vyañjitam . svayaṃ ca mahābhāratē maharṣiṇōktam– anōpaniṣadaṃ puṇyāṃ kṛṣṇadvaipāyanōäbravīt (ā. 1. 279) iti . uktaṃ cābhiyuktaiḥ- yasmin prasādasumukhē kavayōäpi yē tē śāstrāṇyaśāsuriha tanmahimāśrayāṇi . kṛṣṇēna tēna yadiha svayamēva gītaṃ śāstrasya tasya sadṛśaṃ kimivāsti śāstram .. iti . pañcamavēdē cāsyāṃśasya prādhānyamuddhṛtyāāhuḥ  bhāratē bhagavadgītā dharmaśāstrēṣu mānavam . vēdēṣu pauruṣaṃ sūktaṃ purāṇēṣu ca vaiṣṇavam .. (pā.) iti . samīritaḥ –samyagīritaḥ; ajñānasaṃśayaviparyayapratikṣēpēṇa paramaprāpyatva prāpakatvasarvakāraṇatvasarvarakṣakatva sarvasaṃhartṛtvasarvādhikatvasarvādhāratvasarvaniyantṛtvasarvaśēṣitva savavēdavēdyatvasarvahēyarahitatvasarvapāpamōcakatvasarvasamāśrayaṇīyatvādibhiḥ svabhāvaissamastavastvantaravilakṣaṇatayā puruṣōttamatvēna pratipādita ityarthaḥ . samanvayasūtravanniratiśayapuruṣārthatvavivakṣayā vā samityupasargaḥ . ēvamanēna ślōkēna śāstrārthaḥ  saṃgṛhītaḥ.1.

jñānakarmātmikē niṣṭhē yōgalakṣyē susaṃskṛtē . ātmānubhūtisiddhayarthē pūrvaṣaṭkēna cōditē . 2.

atha tribhiḥ ślōkaistrayāṇāṃ paṭkānāmarthaṃ saṃgṛhṇāti .. jñānātmikā niṣṭhā jñānayōgaḥ, karmātmiā niṣṭhā karmayōgaḥ . nitiṣṭhatyasminnarthē adhikartavyēädhikārīti niṣṭhā, niyatā sthitirēva vā niṣṭhā, yāvatphalaṃ sthiraparigṛhītamupāyānuṣṭhānamityarthaḥ . anayōḥ svarūpaṃ byañayiṣyati  karmayōgastapastīrthē (gī. saṃ. 23) ityādinā . yōgalakṣyē -yōgasādhyatayā lakṣyam uddēśyaṃ yayōstē yōgalakṣyē . atra karmaniṣṭhayā jñānaniṣṭhāmāruhya tayā yōgaprāptiriti dvaitīyaḥ kramaḥ . tārtīyastu jñānaniṣṭhāvyavadhānamantarēṇa karmaniṣṭhayaiva yāvadyōgārambhaṃ dṛḍhaparigṛhītayā antargatātmajñānayā śiṣṭatayā vyapadēśyānāṃ lōkānuvidhēyānuṣṭhānānāmitarēpāmapi niṣpramādasukarōpāyasaktānāṃ thōgāvāptiriti . yōgōätrāsanādiviśēṣaparikaravān sākṣātkārārtham ātmāvalōkanāparanāmā cittasamādhānaviśēṣarūpō vyāpāraḥ, tatsādhyasākṣātkāra ēva vā . tēna smṛtisantativiśēṣarūpāt svakāraṇabhūtajñānayōgātsvakāryabhūtādātmānubhavāñca bhēdaḥ . susaṃskṛtē -paramātmādhīnatvataprītyarthatvaphalāntarasaṅgarāhityādi buddhiviśēṣaiḥ parikarmitē ityarthaḥ . ātmānubhūtisiddhayarthē-sukhamātyantikaṃ yattat (gī. 6.21) ityādyuktaprakārēṇa vaiṣathikānandavilakṣaṇasvētarasamastavaitṛṣṇyāvahasukhasvabhāvapratyagātmasākṣātkāraviśēṣarūpasiddhiviśēṣaprayōjanē, ityarthaḥ . pūrvaṣaṭkēna cōditē -kartavyatayāänuśiṣṭē iti yāvat . tādarthyādupōddhātarūpasya prathamādhyāyasya  na tvēṣām (2. 12) ityataḥ pūrvasya dvitīyādhyāyaikadēśasya ca tadanupravēśavācōyuktiḥ . āhuścōpōddhātalakṣaṇaṃ  cintāṃ prakṛtasiddhayarthāmupōddhātaṃ pracakṣatē iti . ēvamanēna ślōkēna prathamaṣaṭkasyāvaratattvaviṣayavyavahitōpāyaparatvamuktam .2.

madhyamē bhagavattatvayāthātmyāvāptisiddhayē . jñānakarmābhinirvartyō bhaktiyōgaḥ prakīrtitaḥ .3.

atha madhyamaṣaṭkasya paratattvaviṣayāvyavahitōpāyaparatvamāha . pūrvaślōkē samāsasthayāpi ṣaṭkaśabdasyātra buddhayā niṣkṛṣya vipariṇatasyānuṣaṅgaḥ . bhagavacchabdō madhyamaṣaṭkōkta [sakala] nikhilajagadēkakāraṇatvanirdōṣatvakalyāṇaguṇākaratvayōgini parasmin brahmaṇi pratyakṣaraṃ prakṛtipratyayarūḍhibhiśca bhagavatparāśarādibhirniruktō draṣṭavyaḥ . yasyaiṣa saṃgraha: –  tatra pūjyapadārthōktiparibhāṣāsamanvitaḥ . śabdōäyaṃ nōpacārēṇa tvanyatra hyupacārataḥ .. (vi. 6.5.77) iti . ayaṃ ca brahmaśabdasya parasminnēva mukhyatvē nidarśanatayā śārīrakabhāṣyārambhē darśitaḥ bhagavacchabdavat iti. bhaktēṣu bhāgavatasamākhyā ca bhajanīyē bhagavacchabdasya nāmadhēyatāṃ vyanakti . bhagavānēva tattvaṃ–bhagavattatvam . tatvamiha prāmāṇikaḥ padārthaḥ .  tatvēna pravēṣṭum (gī. 11. 44) ityasyārthaṃ vyanakti– yāthātmyāvāptisiddhaya iti . aiśvaryādipuruṣārthāntarōtktēranyārthatvamanēna sūcitam . yāthātmyamatra anavacchēdēna puṣkalamanārōpitaṃ rūpam . avāpti:–anavacchinnānandatayāänubhūtiḥ, saiva siddhiḥ puruṣārthakāṣṭhārūpatvāt . tasyā vā siddhirlabdhiḥ . jñānakarmābhinirvartayē ityanēnana prathamamadhyamaṣaṭkayōḥ kramaniyāmakassaṅgativiśēṣassūcitaḥ . tadanusārēṇa saptamārambhē bhāṣyam-  prathamēnādhyāyaṣaṭkēna parabhaprāpyabhūtasya parasya brahmaṇō niravadyasya nikhilajagadēkakāraṇasya sarvajñasya sarvabhūtātma bhūtasya satyasaṅkalpa mahāvibhūtē: śrīmatō nārāyaṇasya prāptyupāyabhūtaṃ tadupāsanaṃ vaktuṃ tadaṅgabhūtamātmajñānapūrvakakarmānuṣṭhānasādhyaṃ prāptuḥ pratyagātmanō yāthātmyadarśanamuktam . idānīṃ madhyamēna ṣaṭkēna parabrahmabhūtaparamapuruṣasvarūpaṃ tadupāsanaṃ ca bhaktiśabdavācyamucyatē . tadētaduttaratra- yataḥ pravṛttirbhūtānāṃ yēna sarvamidaṃ tatam . svakarmaṇā tamabhyarcya siddhiṃ vindati mānavaḥ .. ityārabhya,  vimucya nirmamaśśāntō brahmabhūyāya kalpatē . brahmabhūtaḥ prasannātmā na śōcati na kāṅkṣati . samassarvēṣu bhūtēṣu madbhaktiṃ labhatē parām . (gī. 18. 46-54) iti saṃkṣipya vakṣyata iti . bhaktirēva yōgaḥ bhaktiyōgaḥ .  yōgassannahanāpāyadhyānasaṅgatiyuktiṣu (nā. śā. 3. 179) iti pāṭhādyōgaśabdōätra upāyaparaḥ . dhyānaparatvēpi sāmānya viśēṣarupatāänvayasiddhiḥ . prakīrtitaḥ -svarūpata itikartavyatātō viṣayataḥ kāryataśca prakṛṣṭatayā kīrtita ityarthaḥ .. 3 ..

ēvaṃ ṣaṭkadvayōktanānāvidhatattvahitaviśōdhanaparaṃ kramādantimaṣaṭkatrikadvayamityabhiprāyēṇāha pradhānapuruṣavyaktasarvēśvaravivēcanam . karma dhībhaktirityādiḥ pūrvaśēpōäntimōditaḥ .4 .

pradhānaṃ –kāraṇāvasthamacidvyam . puruṣaḥ acinmiśrāvasthō viśuddhāvasthaścāvyaktaṃ tu mahadādiviśēṣāntaṃ, tadārabdhadēvatiryaṅmanuṣyādirūpaṃ ca kāryajātam . sarvēśvaraḥ- yō lōkatrayamāviśya vibhartayavyaya īśvaraḥ . (f. 15. 17) ityuktaḥ puruṣōttamaḥ . ētēnārvācīnaparicchinnēśvaravyavacchēdaḥ . samākhyā caiṣā sārthā bhagavataḥ,  ajassavēśvarassiddha iti tannāmapāṭhāt . ētēṣāṃ vivēcanaṃ –parasparavyāvartakō dharmaḥ . tēna vā pṛthaktvānusandhānam . karmadhīrbhaktiriti karmayōgādīnāṃ svarūpagrahaṇam, iti –nirdiṣṭapadārthavarga: ādiḥ yasya sa ityādiḥ . ādiśabdēna tadupādānaprakāraḥ tadupayuktaśāstravaśyatvādikaṃ ca gṛhyatē . pūrvaśēṣa ityanēna prakṛtaśōdhanarūpatayā punaruktiparihāraḥ saṅgatipradarśanaṃ ca . ayaṃ ślōkaḥ trayōdaśārambhabhāṣyēṇa spaṣṭaṃ vyākhyātaḥ-*pūrvasmin ṣaṭkē paramaprāpyasya parasya brahmaṇō bhagavatō vāsudēvasya prāpyupāyabhūtabhaktirūpabhagavadupāsanāṅgabhūtaṃ prāptuḥ pratyagātmanō yāthātmyadarśanaṃ jñānayōgakarmayōgalakṣaṇaniṣṭhādvayasādhyamuktam madhyamē ca paramaprāpyabhūtabhagavattatvayāthātmyatanmāhātmyajñānapūrvakaikāntikātyantikabhaktiyōganiṣṭhā pratipāditā . atiśayitaiśvaryāpēkṣāṇāmātmakaivalyamātrāpēkṣāṇāṃ ca bhaktiyōgastattadapēkṣitasādhanamiti cōktam . idānīmuparitanē tu ṣaṭkē prakṛtipurupatatsaṃsargarūpaprapañcēśvaratadyāthātmyakarmajñānabhaktisvarūpatadupādānaprakārāśca ṣaṭkadvayōditā viśōdhyantē-iti . atra trikabhēdavicakṣā ca ṣōḍaśārambhē darśitā- atītēnādhyāyatrayēṇa prakṛtipuruṣayōrviviktayōssaṃsṛṣṭayōśca yāthātmyam , tatsaṃsargaviyōgayōśca guṇasaṅgatadviparyayahētukatvam , sarvaprakārēṇāvasthitayōḥ prakṛtipuruṣayōrbhagavadvibhūtitvam , vibhūtimatō bhagavatō vibhūtibhūtādacidvastunaścidvastunaśca baddhamuktōbhayarūpādavyayatvavyāpanabharaṇasvāmyairarthāntaratayā puruṣōttamatvēna yāthātmyaṃ ca varṇitam-iti . tadatra tṛtīyaṣaṭkē tatvaviśōdhanaparaṃ prathamatrikam . anuṣṭhānaśōdhanaparaṃ dvitīyamiti prāyikatayāäyaṃ vibhāgō grāhyaḥ . 4 .

asthānasnēhakāruṇyadharmādharma[bha]dhiyāääkulam . pārthaṃ prapannamuddiśya śāstrāvataraṇaṃ kṛtam.5.

ēdhaṃ śāstrārthapṣaṭkatrayārthaśca caturbhiślōkaissaṃgṛhītaḥ . itaḥ paramaṣṭādaśabhiḥ ślōkaiḥ pratyadhyāyamarthāssaṃgṛhyantē . tatra śōkatadapanōdanarūpakathāvāntarasaṅgatyā maharṣiṇā prathamadvitīyādhyāyavibhāgē kṛtēäpi śāstratadupōddhātarūpārthavibhāgajñāpanāya dvitīyaikadēśamapi prathamaślōkēna saṃgṛhṇāti . tadyañjanāya ca  tamuvāca hṛṣīkēśaḥ (2. 10) ityasmātpūrvam arthavyākhyānapūrvakamayaṃ ślōkō bhāṣyakārairudāhṛtaḥ- ēvamasthānē samupasthitasnēhakāruṇyābhyāmaprakṛtiṃ gataṃ kṣatriyāṇāṃ yuddhaṃ paramadharmamapyadharmaṃ manvānaṃ dharmabubhutsayā ca śaraṇāgataṃ pārthamuddiśya ātmayāthātmyajñānēna yuddhasya phalābhisandhirahitasyātmaprāpyupāyatājñānēna ca vināäsya mōhō na śāmyatīti matvā bhagavatā paramapuruṣēṇa adhyātmaśāstrāvataraṇaṃ kṛtam . taduktam asthānasnēhakāruṇyadharmādharmādhiyāääkulam . pārthaṃ prapannamuddiśya śāstrāvataraṇaṃ kṛtam .. iti .  asthānaśabdōätra snēhakāruṇyābhyāmēvānvētavyaḥ . dharmēäpyadharmadhī: dharmādharmadhīḥ ; śuktikārajatadhīritivat . prakṛtibhraṃśahētutayā nimittabhūtābhyāmasthānasnēhakāruṇyābhyāṃ jātā dharmādharmadhīḥ asthānasnēhakāruṇyadharmādharmadhīriti atra bhāṣyābhiprāyaḥ . bandhusnēhēna parayā ca kṛpayā dharmādharbhabhayēna ca atimātrasannasarvāṅgaḥ iti prathamādhyāyāntabhāṣyānusārēṇa dharmādharmabhayākulam itipāṭhē trayāṇāṃ dvandvaḥ . dharmādharmabhayaṃ rajjusarpabhayamitivat . uddiśya vyājñīkṛtyētyarthaḥ . tadētatsūcitamārambhē  pāṇḍutanayayuddhaprōtsāhanavyājēna iti . prapannatvāttamuddiśyaivēti vā vivakṣitam . tadapi sūcitam  asya mōhō na śāmyatīti matvā iti . tadatra  tamuvāca (2. 10) ityādiślōkaparyantō granthaḥ śāstrāvatārarūpaḥ . tāvatsaṃgrahaṇāyātra ślōkē prathamādhyāya ityanuktiḥ . asti hyuttarēṣu saptadaśasu tattaddhyāyagrahaṇam . anantarē ca saṃgrahaślōkē  na tvēvāhaṃ jātu nāsam (2. 12) ityādērathamabhiprētya dvitīyagrahaṇam . sa ca dvitīyāntē vyākhyānapūrvaka [mudāhṛtaḥ] muddhṛtaḥ- ēvamātmayāthātmyaṃ yuddhākhyasya ca karmaṇastatprāptisādhanatāmajānataśśarīrātmajñānēna mōhitasya tēna cē mōhēna yuddhānnivṛtta [syā] sya mōhaśāntayē nityātmaviṣayā sāṃkhyabuddhistatpūrvikā ca asaṅgakarmānuṣṭhānarūpakarmayōga [viṣayā] buddhiḥ sthitaprajñatāyōgasādhanabhūtā dvitīyādhyāyē prōktā . taduktam- nityātmāsaṅgakarmēhagōcarā sāṃkhyayōgadhīḥ . dvitīyē sthitadhīlakṣā prōktā tanmōhaśāntayē . iti . 5 .

saṃkhyayā- buddhayāävadhāraṇīyamātmatattvaṃ sāṃsvyam , tadviṣayabuddhissāṃkhyadhīḥ . nityātmagōcarēti tadvikaraṇam . ēvamatra asaṅgakarmahāśabdēnāpi yōgaśabdārthavivaraṇādapaunaruktyam . sāṃkhyayōgayō:-sāṃkhyayōgayōrdhīḥ . sthitadhīḥ.. sthitaprajñatā, jñānaniṣṭhētyarthaḥ . sā sādhyatvēna lakṣaṃ yasyāssā tathōktā . tanmōhaśāntayē upakārasya arjunasya dēhātmādibhramanivṛttyartham . ēvaṃ dvitīyādhyāyōktasya prapañcanarūpatayā ṣaṣṭhāntānāṃ caturṇāmēkapēṭikātvam . ēkīkaraṇāthaṃ tṛtīyārambhēänubhāṣitam—tadēvaṃ mumukṣubhiḥ prāpyatayā vēdāntōditanirastanikhilāvidyādidōṣagandhānavadhikātiśayāsaṃkhyēyakalyāṇaguṇagaṇaparabrahmapuruṣōttamaprāptyupāyabhūtavēdanōpāsanadhyānādiśabdavācyāṃ tadaikāntikātyantikabhaktiṃ vaktuṃ tadaṅgabhutaṃ  ya ātmā apahatapāpmā (chā. 8. 9. 1) ityādiprajāpativākyōditaṃ prāturātmanō yāthāmyadarśanaṃ tannityatājñānapūrvakāsaṅgakarmanippādyajñānayōgasādhyamuktam-ityāramya  ata: paramadhyāyacatuṣṭayēna idamēva prāptuḥ pratyagātmanō darśanaṃ sasādhanaṃ prapañcayati–iti . 6.

asaktyā lōkarakṣāyai guṇēṣvārōpya kartṛtām . sarvēśvarē vā nyasyōktā tṛtīyē karmakāryatā . 7 .

asaktyā —paramapuruṣaprītivyatiriktasvargādiphalasaṃgatyāgapūrvakamityarthaḥ . lōkarakṣāyai -anuvidhēyānuṣṭhānasya kṛtsnavidassvasyānuṣṭhānānusandhānēnākṛtsnavidaśśiṣṭalōkasya niṣpramādaluṇṭākarahitaghaṇṭāpathapravartanārthamityarthaḥ . ētēna lōkasaṃgrahaśabdō (gī. 3, 20) vyākhyātaḥ . ēvaṃ lōkarakṣaṇārthaṃ pravṛttērantataḥ svarakṣāparyantatvaṃ bhāṣyōktam-  anyathā lōkanāśajanitaṃ pāpaṃ jñānayōgādapyēnaṃ prācyāvayēditi . guṇēṣu -sattvarajastamassaṃjñakēṣu prakṛtiguṇēṣvityavirthaḥ . ārōpya kartṛtām -svasya dēśakālāvasthādiniyataviṣayajñānacikīrṣāprayatnāśrayatvalakṣaṇāṃ kartṛtāṃ guṇaprayuktatayā anusandhāyētyarthaḥ . tathā ca bhāṣyam –guṇēṣu kartṛtvānusandhānaṃ cēdamēva ; ātmanō na svarūpaprayuktamidaṃ kartṛtvam ; api tu guṇasaṃparkakṛtamiti prāptāprāptavivēkēna guṇakṛtamityanusandhānam (3. 29) iti .  mayi sarvāṇi karmāṇi (3. 30) ityatra asmacchabdābhiprētaṃ vyanakti- sarvēśvarē vā nyasyēti . guṇānāṃ tadāśrayasya triguṇadravyasya tatsaṃsṛṣṭasya viyuktasya ca jīvasya niyantari bhagavati tasyāstanmūlatvabhāvanayā nivēśyētyabhiprāyaḥ . sūtrakāraśca  kartā śāstrārthavatvāt (2.3.33) ityādibhirātmanaḥ kartṛtvamupapādya anantaraṃ tasya paramātmādhīnatvaṃ  parāttu tacchrutēḥ (2.3.40) ityāha . sarvēśvarē kartṛtvānusandhānaprakāraścaivaṃ bhāṣitaḥ-idānīmātmanāṃ paramapuruṣaśarīratayā tanniyāmyatvasvarūpanirūpaṇēna bhagavati puruṣōttamē sarvātmabhūtē guṇakṛtaṃ ca kartṛtvamārōpya karmakartavyatōcyatē (gī. 3. 30) iti . piṇḍitārthaśca darśitaḥ svakīyēnātmanā kartrā svakīyaiścōpakaraṇaissvārādhanaikaprayōjanāya paramapuruṣassarvaśēṣī sarvēśvarassvayamēva svakarmāṇi kārayati (3. 30) ityādinā ..

prasaṅgātsva svabhāvōktiḥ karmaṇōäkarmatāäsya ca . bhēdājñānasya māhātmyaṃ caturthādhyāya ucyatē .8.

karmayōgasya saukaryaṃ śaighrayaṃ kāścana tadvidhāḥ . brahmajñānaprakāraśca pañcamādhyāya ucyatē .9.

tṛtīyacaturthābhyāṃ yathāṃśaṃ saṃgatipradarśanapūrvakamayaṃ ślōkaḥ pañcamārambhē vyākhyātaḥ- caturthēädhyāyē karmayōgasya jñānākāratāpūrvakasvarūpabhēdaḥ, jñānāṃśasya ca prādhānyamuktam . jñānayōgādhikāriṇōäpi karmayōgasyāntargatātmajñānatvādapramādatvātsukaratvānnirapēkṣatvāñca jyāyastvaṃ tṛtīya ēvōktam . idānīṃ karmayōgasyātmaprāptisādhanatvē jñānaniṣṭhāyāśśaighrayaṃ karmayōgāntargatākartṛtvānusandhānaprakāraṃ ca pratipādya tanmūlaṃ jñānaṃ ca viśōdhyata iti . saukaryasyātrānuddharaṇaṃ pūrvōktānuvādatājñāpanārtham . saukaryaśabdēnātra  sukhaṃ bandhātpramucyatē (5. 3) ityasya hēturdarśitaḥ . śaighrayaṃ tu  yōgayuktō munirbrahma nacirēṇādhigacchati (5, 6) ityuktam . atra vidhāśabda itikartavyatāparaḥ, tathā khalu  naiva kiṃcitkarōmi (5. 8) ityādēradhiṣṭhikā yatassaukaryācchaighrayāñca karmayōga ēva śrēyānatastadapēkṣitaṃ śṛṇviti . akartṛtvānusandhānaprakāraśabdōäpyētatparaḥ . brahmaśabdōätra brahmasamānākāraśuddhātmaviṣayaḥ . jñānaśabdaścātra samadarśanarūpajñānavipākaviśrāntaḥ . prakāraśabdastu taddhētubhūtaprakārārthaḥ . ata ēva hi  yēna prakārēṇāvasthitasya karmayōginassamadarśanarūpō jñānavipākō bhavati, taṃ prakāramupadiśatītyuktvā  na prahṛṣyētpriyaṃ prāpya (5. 20) ityādikamavatāritam . ṣaṣṭhārambhastvēvaṃ saṃgamitaḥ  uktaḥ karmayōgassaparikaraḥ, idānīṃ jñānayōgakarmayōgasādhyātmāvalōkanarūpayōgābhyāsavidhirucyatē, tatra karmayōgasya nirapēkṣayōgasādhanatvaṃ draḍhayituṃ jñānākāraḥ karmayōgī yōgaśiraskōänūdyata iti . ētēna  yōgī yuñjīta (6.10) ityataḥ pūrvasya granthasyānuvādarūpatvāt saṃgrahē nōpanyāsa iti byañjitam..9 ..

yōgābhyāsavidhiyōgī caturdhā yōgasādhanam . yōgasiddhisvayōgasya pāramyaṃ ṣaṣṭha ucyatē .10.

nanu atra pañcārthāssaṃgṛhītāḥ bhāṣyē tu kathamēkaḥ ? ittham .  sparśānkṛtvā bahibāhyān (5. 27) ityādinā pañcamē prastutō yōgābhyāsavidhirēvātra prapancyata iti tatpradhānōäyamadhyāyaḥ, tadanubandhāḥ prasaṅgādanyē pratipādyanta iti . ētēnādhyāyāntarēṣvapyanēkānubandha ēkaikārthaḥ pradhānatama iti sūcitam . tadyathā–śravaṇādhikārī, tanmōhaśamanaṃ, karmayōgakartavyatvam , tadāvāntarabhēdaḥ, tadantargatajñānavipākaḥ, yōgābhyāsavidhiḥ, pratibuddhaprādhānyam, trividhādhikāravēdyōpādēyavibhāgaḥ, saprakārō]rakō bhaktiyōgaḥ, guṇavibhūtyānantyam , caiśvarūpyadarśanōpāyaḥ, bhaktyārōhakramaḥ, viśuddhakṣētrajña vijñānam, jaiguṇyaviśōdhanam , puruṣōttamavailakṣaṇyam , śāstravaśyatvam , śāstrīyavivēcanam, sārōddhāraḥ iti . atōätra yōgābhyāsavidhyanubandhatvēna yōgicāturvidhyādipradarśanam . yōgī caturdhā– sarvabhūtasthamātmānam (gī. 6. 29) ityādiślōka catuṣṭayōditasamadarśanacāturvidhyāt . tatra hyēvaṃ bhāṣyam- atha yōgavipākadaśā catuṣprakārōcyata iti . ēvaṃ tatra samadarśanavipākakramōäbhiprētaḥ, ātmanāṃ jñānatvānandatvādibhiranyōnyasāmyadarśanam , śuddhāvasthāyāmahatapāpmatvādibhirīśvarēṇa sābhyadarśanam , parityaktaprākṛtabhēdānāmasaṃkucitajñānaikākāratayā īśvarēṇa tadapṛthaksiddhaviśēṣaṇatvādibhiranyōnyaṃ ca sāmyadarśanam , aupādhikaiḥ putrādibhirasaṃbandhasāmyadarśanaṃ cēti . yōgasādhanam -abhyāsavairāgyādikam . yōgasiddhiḥ –yōgabhraṣṭasyāpi pratyavāyavirahaḥ; puṇyalōkādyavāptirvicchinnapratisandhānādyanurūpaviśiṣṭakulōtpatti: abhikramanāśābhāvēna kramācchēṣapūraṇēnāpavargāvinābhāvaḥ ityēvaṃrūpā . khayōgasya pāramyam-vakturbhagavatō vāsurdēvasya bhajanarūpō yōgōätra svayōga: ; tasya pāramyaṃ–svāpēkṣayōtkṛṣṭarāhityam . ētañca madhyamaṣaṭkapratipādyamapi tatprastāvanārūpēṇa  yōgināmapi sarvēṣāmiti prathamaṣaṭkāntima ślōkēna darśitam . tathā hi tatra bhāṣyam  tadēvaṃ paravidyāṅgabhūtaṃ prajāpativākyōditaṃ pratyagātmadarśanamuktam , atha paravidyāṃ prastautīti .. 10 .|

svayāthātmyaṃ prakṛtyāäsya tirōdhiśaśaraṇāgatiḥ . bhaktibhēdaḥ prabuddhasya śraiṣṭhayaṃ saptama ucyatē . 11 .

tatra bhāṣyam – saptamē tāvadupāsyabhūtaparamapuruṣa [svarūpa] yāthātmyam, prakṛtyā tattirōdhānam , tannivṛttayē bhagavatprapattiḥ, upāsakavidhābhēdō jñāninaśśraiṣṭhayaṃ cōcyata iti . tatra prakṛtiśabdēna  mama māyā duratyayā (7. 13) iti māyāśabdō vyākhyātaḥ . guṇamayōti viśēṣaṇāt saiva hi vivakṣitēti gamyatē . śrutāvapi  asanmānmāyī sṛjatē viśvamētattasmiṃścānyō māyayā sannirūddhaḥ iti prastutayōrmāyātadvatōḥ  māyāṃ tu prakṛtiṃ vidyānmāyinaṃ tu mahēśvaram (śvē. 4. 9) iti svayamēva vivaraṇāñca . atō vicitrasṛṣṭyupakaraṇavastutvāt prakṛtāviha māyāśabdaprayōga iti bhāvaḥ . aṣṭamārambhasaṅgatau caitacchlōkārthaḥ spaṣṭamabhihitaḥ- saptamē parasya brahmaṇō vāsudēvasyōpāsyatvam , nikhilacētanācētanavastuśēṣitvam, kāraṇatvam , ādhāratvam , sarvaśarīratayā sarvaprakāratvēna sarvaśabdavācyatvam , sarvaniyantṛtvam , sarvaiśca kalyāṇaguṇagaṇaistasyaiva parataratvam , satvarajastamōmayaidēhēndriyatvēna bhōgyatvēna cāvasthitairbhāvairanādikālapravṛttaduṣkṛtapravāhahētukaistasya tirōdhānam , atyutkṛṣṭasukṛtahētukabhagavatprapattyā ca tannivartanam , sukṛtatāratamyēna ca pratipattivaiśēṣyādaiśvaryākṣarayāthātmyabhagavatprāptyapēkṣayā cōpāsakabhēdam , bhagavantaṃ prēpsōrnityayuktatayā ēkabhaktitayā ca atyarthaparamapuruṣapriyatvēna ca śraiṣṭhayaṃ durlabhatvaṃ ca pratipādya ēṣāṃ trayāṇāṃ jñātavyōpādēyabhēdāṃśca prāstaupīditi .. 11 ..

aiśvaryākṣarayāthātmyabhagavacaraṇārthinām . vēdyōpādēyabhāvānāmaṣṭamē bhēda ucyatē . 12 .

aṣṭamaścaivamavatārita:- idānīmaṣṭamē prastutān jñātavyōpādēyabhēdānvivinaktīti . tatraiṣa saṃgrahaḥ . aiśvaryamatra indraprajāpatipaśupatibhōgēbhyōätiśayitabhōgaḥ, akṣarayāthātmyam -viviktātmasvarūpam , vēdyāstu  akṣaraṃ brahma paramam(8.2) ityādinōktāḥ śuddhātmasvarūpaprabhṛtayaḥ, upādēyāstu tattadiṣṭaphalānurūpaparamapuruṣacintanāntimapratyayagaticintanādayaḥ, ta ēva bhāvāḥ -padārthāḥ, tēṣāṃ bhēdaḥ -tattadadhikārānurūpō viśēṣaḥ . 12 .

svamāhātmyaṃ manuṣyatvē paratvaṃ ca mahātmanām . viśēṣō navamē yōgē bhaktirūpaḥ prakīrtitaḥ . 13 .

khamāhātmyam –mayā tatamidaṃ sarvam (9. 4) ityādibhiḥ śōdhitam . avajānanti māṃ mṛdā mānuṣīṃ tanumāśritam . paraṃ bhāvamajānantō mamāvyayamanuttamam . (7. 24) iti paratvasya manuṣyadaśāyāmapyavyayatvamuktam . prastutāvatāravicakṣayā manuṣyāvasthatvōktiḥ . tanmukhēna sarvēpvapyavatārēṣu anyayaḥ paramō bhāva upalilakṣayiṣitaḥ . uktaṃ ca śrīvatsacihnamiśraiḥ – parō vā vyūhō vā vibhava uta vāärcāvataraṇō bhavanvāäntaryāmī varavarada yō yō bhavasi vai . sa sa tvaṃ sannaiśānvaraguṇagaṇān bibhradakhilān bhajadbhayō bhāsyēvaṃ satatamitarēbhyastvitarathā .. (va. sta. 18) iti .  mahātmānastu māṃ pārthētyādinā (9.13) mahātmanāṃ viśēṣō viśōdhitaḥ . atra bhaktirūpasya yōgasyaiva prādhānyaṃ bhāṣyōktam upāsakabhēdanibandhanā viśēṣāḥ pratipāditāḥ, idānīmupāsyasya paramapuruṣasya māhātmyaṃ jñānināṃ viśēṣaṃ ca viśōdhya bhaktirūpasyōpāsanasya svarūpamucyatē iti . 13 .

svakalyāṇaguṇānantyakṛtsnasvādhīnatāmatiḥ . bhaktyutpattivivṛddhayarthā vistīrṇā daśamōditā . 14 .

atra namasaṃgatipūrvakaṃ bhāṣyam — bhaktiyōgassaparikara uktaḥ, idānīṃ bhaktyutpattayē tadvivṛddhayē ca bhagavatō niraṅkuśaiśvaryādikalyāṇaguṇānantyaṃ kṛtsnasya jagatastaccharīratayā tadātmakatvēna tatpravartyatvaṃ ca prapaṃcyata iti . ēkā daśārambhē ca bhāṣitam  ēvaṃ bhaktiyōganippattayē tadvivṛddhayē ca sakalētaravilakṣaṇēna svābhāvikēna bhagavadasādhāraṇēna kalyāṇaguṇagaṇēna saha bhagavatassarvātmatvaṃ, tata ēva tadyatiriktasya kṛtsnasya cidacidātmakasya vastujātasya taccharīratayā tadāyattasvarūpasthitipravṛttitvaṃ cōktam . tamētaṃ bhagavadasādhāraṇaṃ svabhāvaṃ kṛtsnasya tadāyattasvarūpasthitipravṛttitāṃ ca bhagavatsakāśadupaśrutya ēvamēvēti niścitya tathābhūtaṃ bhagavantaṃ sākṣātkartukāmōärjuna uvācēti . 14 .

ēkādaśē svayāthātmyasākṣātkārāvalōkanam . dattamuktaṃ vidiprāptayōrbhaktyēkōpāyatā tathā . 15 .

sākṣātkārahētubhūtamavalōkanaṃ sākṣātkārāvalōkanam , avalōkyatēänēnētyavalōkanamiha divyaṃ cakṣuḥ . vidiprāptyōriti darśanasyāpyupalakṣaṇam . tathā hi gīyatē– bhaktyā tvananyayā śakya ahamēvaṃvidhōärjuna . jñātuṃ draṣṭuṃ ca tattvēna pravēṣṭuṃ ca parantapa .. (11. 54) iti . ayaṃ tu saṃgrahō dvādaśārambhē saṅgatiṃ vivakṣadbhirvyākhyātaḥ- bhaktiyōganiṣṭhānāṃ prāpyabhūtasya parasya brahmaṇō bhagavatō nārāyaṇasya niraṅkaśaiśvaryaṃ sākṣātkartukāmāyārjunāyānavadhikātiśayakāruṇyaudāryasauśīlyādiguṇasāgarēṇa satyasaṅkalpēna bhagavatā svaiśvaryaṃ yathāvadavasthitaṃ darśitam , uktaṃ ca tattvatō bhagavajjñānadarśanaprāptīnāmaikāntikātyantikabhagavadbhaktyēkalabhyatvam . iti . 15 .

bhaktēśraiṣṭhayamupāyōktiraśaktasyātmaniṣṭhatā . tatprakārāstvatiprītirbhaktē dvādaśa ucyatē . 16 .

atra ca bhāṣyam – anantaramātmaprāptisādhanabhūtādātmōpāsanādbhaktirūpasya bhagavadupāsanasya svasādhyaniṣpādanē śaighrayātsusukhōpādānatvāñca śraiṣṭhyaṃ bhagavadupāsanōpāyaśca tadaśaktasyākṣaraniṣṭhatā tadapēkṣitāścōcyanta iti . atrātiprītibhaktē ityasyōpādānamupasaṃhāramātratāvyañjanārtham . upāyōktiḥ- atha cittaṃ samādhātum (12. 9) ityādiślōkadvayēna kṛtā . bhagavati cittaṃ samādhātumaśaktasya bhagavadbhuṇābhyāsastatrāpyaśaktasya prītipūrvakabhagavadasādhāraṇakarmakaraṇam, tasminnapyasamarthasthātmaniṣṭhēti kramaḥ . tatprakārāḥ –karmayōgādyapēkṣitāḥ  advēṣṭā sarvabhūtānām (12. 13) ityādinōkta upādēyaguṇaprakārāḥ . tathāca tatra bhāṣitam– anabhisaṃhitaphalakarmaniṣṭhasyōpādēyān guṇānāha iti . atiprītirbhaktē  yē tu dharmyāmṛtamidaṃ yathōktam (12. 20) ityādinā adhyāyāntimaślōkēnōktā . tadabhiprētaṃ caivamuktam [ta] asmādātmaniṣṭhādbhaktiyōganiṣṭhasya śraiṣṭhayaṃ pratipādayanyathōpakramamupasaṃharati iti . 16 .

dēhasvarūpamātmāptihēturātmaviśōdhanam . bandhahēturvivēkaśca trayōdaśa udīryatē . 17 .

atra bhāpyam-tatra tāvattrayōdaśē dēhātmanōssvarūpaṃ dēhayāthātmyaśōdhanaṃ dēhaviyuktātmaprāptyupāyō viviktātmasvarūpa[sa]śōdhanaṃ tathāvidhasyātmanaścācitsaṃbandhahētustatō vivēkānusandhānakāraścōcyata iti . atra dēhasvarūpamityēnēnaivābhiprētaṃ dēhātmanōssvarūpamiti dēhayāthātmyaśōdhanamiti ca vivṛtam . ātmāptihētuḥ  amānitvām (13. 7) ityādibhiruktaḥ . ātmaviśōdhanaṃ-  jñēyaṃ yattatpravakṣyāmi (13. 12) ityupakramya kṛtam . bandhahētusvu  kāraṇaṃ guṇasaṃgōäsya sadasadyōnijanmasu (13. 21) ityuktaḥ .  dhayānēnātmani paśyanti (13. 24) ityādinā bikānusandhānaprakārō yathādhikāraṃ durśitaḥ .. 17 ..

guṇabandhavidhā tēṣāṃ kartutvaṃ tannivartanam . gatitrayasvamūlatvaṃ caturdaśa udīryatē . 18 .

atra prakṛtiviśōṣadhanarūpatayā saṃgatipūrvakaṃ bhāgyam-  trayōdaśē prakṛtipuruṣayōranyōnyasaṃssṛṣṭayō: syāpayāthāyaṃ vijñāya amānitvādibhirbhagavadbhaktyanugṛhītairbandhānmucyata ityuktam, tatra bandhahētuḥ pṛrvapūrvasatvāguṇamayasukhādisaṅga iti cābhihitam– kāraṇaṃ guṇasaṃyōgōäsya sadasadyōnijanmanu (13, 21) iti . athaidānīṃ guṇānāṃ bandhahētutāprakārō guṇanivartanaprakāraścōcyatē iti . guṇakartṛtvādēriha bhāṣyēänuktiḥ pūrvavadēvēti bhāvyam . satvaṃ sukhajñānasaṅgēna badhnāti ; rajastu karmasaṅgēna ; tamastu pramadālasyanidrābhiriti bandhahētutāprakāraḥ . tēṣāṃ kartṛtvaṃ prāguktaprakārēṇa prāptāprāptavivēkēna tēṣvārōpitam , tañcātra  nānyaṃ guṇēbhyaḥ kartāram (14. 19) iti smāritam . guṇanivartanaprakārastu  māṃ ca yōävyabhicārēṇa bhaktiyōgēna sēvatē . sa guṇān samatītyaitān brahmabhūyāya kalpatē . (14. 26) ityantēnōktaḥ . ata ēvātra gatitrayasvamūlatvamityētat  brahmaṇō hi pratiṣṭhāäham ityadhyāyāntimaślōkōktamēva saṃgṛhṇāti . tata va hi tatraivaṃ bhāṣitam  pūrvatra  daivī hyēṣā guṇamayī mama māyā duratyayā . māmēva yē prapadyantē māyāmētāṃ taranti tē .. (7, 14) ityārabhya guṇātyayasya tatpūrvakākṣaraiśvaryabhagatprāptīnāṃ ca bhagavatprapattyēkōpāyatāyāḥ pratipāditatvādēkāntabhagavatprapattyēkōpāyō guṇātyayaḥ, tatpūrvakabrahmabhāvaśca (14. 27) iti . avēṃ gacchanti (14. 18) ityādyuktatagatitrayavivakṣāyāṃ tu saṃgrahakramabhaṅgasyāt . 18 .

acinmiśrādviśuddhāñca cētanātpuruṣōttamaḥ . vyāpanādbharaṇātsvāmyādanyaḥ pañcadaśōditaḥ . 19 .

atra  acinmiśrādviśuddhāñca ityasya sūcanīyāṃ saṅgatiṃ vivṛṇvan kṣarākṣaraśabdavyākhyānatāṃ vyanakti– kṣētrādhyāyē kṣētrakṣētrajñabhūtayōḥ prakṛtipuruṣayōssvarūpaṃ viśōdhya viśuddhasthāparicchinnajñānaikākārasyaiva puruṣarama prākṛtagusaṅgapravāhanimittō dēvādyākārapariṇataprakṛtisaṃbandhōänādirityuktam , anantarē cādhyāyē puruṣasya kāryakāraṇōbhayāvasthaprakṛtisaṃbandhō guṇasaṅgamūlō bhagavataiva kṛta ityuktvā guṇasaṅgaprakāraṃ savistaraṃ pratipādya guṇasaṅganivṛttipūrvakātmayāthātmyāvāptiśca bhagavadbhaktimūlētyuktam . idānīṃ bhajanīyasya bhagavataḥ kṣarākṣarātmakabaddhamuktavibhūtimattāṃ vibhūtibhūtātkṣarākṣarapuruṣadvayānnikhilahēyapratyanīkakalyāṇaikatānatayātyantōtkarṣaṇa visajātīyasya bhagavataḥ puruṣōttamatvaṃ ca vaktumārabhatē iti . atra vyāpanabharaṇasvāmyāni  yō lōkatrayamāviśya vibhartyavyaya īśvaraḥ (15. 17) iti pratipāditāni . ēvaṃ prādhānyataścidacidīśvararūpatattvatrayaviśōdhanaṃ kramādadhyāyatrayēṇa kṛtamityanusandhēyam . 19 .

dēvāsuravibhāgōktipūrvikā śāstravaśyatā . tatvānuṣṭhānavijñānasthēmnē ṣōḍaśa ucyatē . 20 .

atra pūrvōttarasamastapratiṣṭhāpakaṣṣōḍaśādhyāyārthassaṃgṛhyatē . ētadabhiprāyēṇa bhāṣyam — anantaramuktasya kṛtsnasyārthasya sthēmnē śāstravaśyatāṃ vaktuṃ śāstravaśyatadviparītayōrdaivāsurasargayōḥ vibhāgaṃ śrībhagavānuvāca iti . ata ēva saptadaśamavatārayannēvamanvabhāṣata  daivāsuravibhāgōktimukhēna prāpyatattvajñānaṃ tatprāptyupāyajñānaṃ ca vēdaikamūlamityuktam iti . atra śāstravaśyatā- tasmācchāstraṃ pramāṇaṃ tē kāryakāryavyavasthitau . jñātvā śāstravidhānōktaṃ karma kartumihārhasi .. iti adhyāyāntimaślōkēnōktā . 20 .

aśāstramāsuraṃ kṛtsnaṃ śāstrīyaṃ guṇataḥ pṛthak . lakṣaṇaṃ śāstrasiddhasya tridhā saptadaśōditam . 21 .

atra bhāṣyam- idānīmaśāstravihitasyāsuratvēna aphalatvaṃ śāstravihitasya ca guṇatastryaividhyaṃ śāstrasiddhasya lakṣaṇaṃ cōcyatē iti . śāstraṃ yasya vidhāyakatvēna nāsti tadaśāstramityabhiprāyēṇāśāstravihitasyētyuktam .  ōṃ tatsaditi (17. 23) śāstrasiddhasya trividhaṃ lakṣaṇamuktam . 21 .

īśvarē kartṛtābuddhissatvōpādēyatāäntimē . svakarmapariṇāmaśca śāstrasārārtha ucyatē .22 .

tadētatpūrvādhyāyasaṃgatipradarśanapūrvakaṃ vyācaṣṭē. atītēnādhyāyadvayēna abhyudayaniśśrēyasasādhanabhūtaṃ vaidikamēva thajñatapōdānādikaṃ karma, nānyat , vaidikasya ca karmaṇassāmānyalakṣaṇaṃ pragavānvayaḥ, tatra mōkṣābhyudayasādhanayōrbhēdastat -sacchabdanirdēśyatvēna, mōkṣasādhanaṃ ca karma phalābhisandhirahitaṃ yajñādikam , tadārambhaśca sattvōdrēkādbhavati, [sattvōdrēkaśca] sattvavṛddhiśca sāttvikāhārasēvayētyuktam . anantaraṃ mōkṣasādhanatayā nirdiṣṭayōstyāgasanyāsayō raikyam , tyāgasya ca svarūpaṃ bhagavati sarvēśvarē [ca] sarvakarmaṇāṃ kartṛtvānusandhānaṃ, satvarajastamasāṃ kāryavarṇanēna sattvaguṇasyāvaśyōpādēyatvaṃ, svavarṇōcitānāṃ karmaṇāṃ paramapuruṣārādhanabhūtānāṃ paramapuruṣaprāptinirvartanaprakāraḥ, kṛtsnasya ca gītāśāstrasya sārārthō bhaktiyōgaḥ ityētē pratipādhyantē iti . atra tyāgasanyāsaśabdāvēkārthāviti bhagavaduktēnōttarēṇa khyāpitam . bhāṣyē sarvēśvarē kartṛtvānusandhānaṃ ca.  daivaṃ caivātra pañcamam (18.14) ityatraiva darśitam- atra–karmahētukalāpē, daivaṃ pañcamam-paramātmāäntaryāmī karmaniṣpattau pradhānahēturityarthaḥ . uktaṃ hi  sarvasya cāhaṃ hṛdi sanniviṣṭō mattassmṛtirjñānamapōhanaṃ ca (15. 15) iti . vakṣyati ca  īśvarassarvabhūtānāṃ hṛddēśēärjuna tiṣṭhati . bhrāmayan sarvabhūtāni yantrārūḍhāni māyayā . (18. 61) iti . paramātmāyattaṃ ca jīvātmanaḥ kartṛtvaṃ  parāttu tacchrutēḥ (bra. 2. 3. 40) ityupapāditam . nanvēvaṃ paramātmāyatē jīvātmanaḥ kartṛtvē jīvātmā karmaṇyaniyōjyō bhavatīti vidhiniṣēdhaśāstrāṇyanarthakāni syuḥ . idamapi cōdyaṃ sūtrakārēṇaiva parihṛtam  kṛtaprayatnāpēkṣastu vihipratiṣiddhāvaiyarthyādibhyaḥ (2. 3. 41) iti . ētaduktaṃ bhavati-paramātmanā dataistadādhāraiśca karaṇakalēbarādibhistadāhitaśaktibhiḥ svayaṃ ca jīvātmā tadādhārastadāhitaśaktissan karmaniṣpattayē svēcchayā karaṇādyadhiṣṭhānākāraṃ prayatnaṃ cārabhatē . tadantasvasthitaḥ paramātmā svānumatidānēna taṃ pravartayatīti jīvasyāpi svabuddhayaiva pravṛttihētutvamasti . yathā gurutaraśilāmahīruhādicalanādiphalapravṛttiṣu bahupuruṣasādhyāsu bahūnāṃ hētutvaṃ vidhiniṣēdhabhāktvaṃ cēnīti . tatra śāstrasārārthaḥ  sarvaguhyatamamityādinā sādaraṃ saṃmukhīkṛtya  manmanā bhava madbhaktaḥ,  sarvadharmān parityajya (58.66) iti ślōkadvayēna śiṣṭaḥ . caramaślōkārthaśca tātparyacandrikāyāṁ nikṣēparakṣāyāṃ cāsmābhiḥ yathābhāṣyaṃ yathāsaṃpradāyaṃ ca samastaparapakṣapratikṣēpapūrvakamupapāditaḥ . tatrāyamasmadīyasaṃgrahaḥ  suduṣkarēṇa śōcēdyō yēna yēnēṣṭahēgunā . sa sa tasyāhamēvēti caramaślōkasaṃgrahaḥ . iti . sārārthōṃ bhaktiyōga iti bhāṣyaṃ tvaṅgādhikārē prapatiṃ pratyapi bhaktēraṅgitvēna prādhānyāt .. 22 ..

karmayōgastapastīrthadānayajñādisēvanan . jñānayōgō jitasvāntaiḥ pariśuddhātmani sthitiḥ . 23 .

atha daśabhiślōkaissutvagrahṇāya karmayōgajñānayōgabhaktiyōgādīnāṃ svarūpādikaṃ vivinakti . tatra karmayōgasya lakṣaṇaṃ pūrvamēva darśitamiti kṛtvā tattadadhikāriṇāṃ jñānaśaktiyōgyatānuguṇyēna yathādhikāraṃ parigrahārthaṃ caturthāktānavāntarabhēdānanuktānapi sarvānādiśabdēna saṃgṛhṇannudāharati . āphalōdayaṃ sādaraṃ nirantaraparigradōätra sēvanam .. atha tatsādhyasya jñānayōgasyādhikāripradarśanapūkaṃ lakṣaṇamāha . nirantaracintanarūpēṇēti śēṣaḥ . tēna tatphaladupāyajñānābhyāṃ vyavacchēdaḥ . 23 ..

bhaktiyōgaḥ paraikāntagrītyā dhyānādiṣu sthitiḥ . trayāṇāmapi yōgānāṃ tribhiranyōnyasaṅgamaḥ . 24 .

athāntaraṅgaissaha bhaktiyōgaṃ lakṣayati . parasmin brahmaṇyēkāntēna prītiḥ paraikāntaprītiḥ . tēna mahanīyaviṣayē prītiḥ bhaktiriti lakṣaṇaṃ sūcitam .  snēhapūrvamanudhyānaṃ bhaktirityabhidhīyatē (lai. u. 9. 19) ityādyanusārēṇa lakṣyasvarūpaṃ dhyānaśabdēnōktam . ādiśabdēnārcanapraṇāmādyantaraṅgavargasaṃgrahaḥ . uktaṃ ca vēdārthasaṃgrahē  aśēṣajagaddhitānuśāsanaśrutinikaraśirasi samadhigatōäyamartha:-jīvaparayāthātmyajñānapūrvakavarṇāśramadhamētikartavyatākaparamapuruṣacaraṇayugaladhyānārcanapraṇāmādiratyarthapriyastatprāptiphalaḥ . iti . nanu-karmayōgēäpyātmajñānamārādhyaprītiścānuvartatē, jñānayōgēäpyanta:karaṇaśuddhayarthaṃ niyataṃ karma na tyājyam , tadārādhyēśvarabhaktiśca . ēvaṃ bhaktiyōgēäpi taditarānuvṛttissiddhā ; atō vibhāgānupapattirityatrāha . pradhānabhūtē kasmiṃścitkṣīraśarkarānyāyēna guṇatayā itarānupravēśō na vibhāgabhañjaka iti bhāvaḥ .24.

nityanaimittikānāṃ ca parārādhanarūpiṇām . ātmadṛṣṭēsrayōäpyētē yōgadvārēṇa sādhakāḥ . 25 .

nanvēvaṃ paraikāntaprītisriṣvapi samānā, . aikāntyaṃ cānanyadēvatākatvaparyantam . yathōktaṃ mōkṣadharmē  brahmāṇaṃ śitikaṇṭhaṃ ca yāścānyā dēvatāssmṛtāḥ . pratibuddhā na sēvantē yasmātparimitaṃ phalam . (350.36) iti . aśvamēdhikē ca  ananyadēvatābhaktā yē madbhaktajanapriyāḥ . māmēva śaraṇaṃ prāptāstē madbhaktāḥ prakīrtitāḥ .. (104, 91) iti . tataścāgnīndrādinānādēvatāsaṃkīrṇānāṃ varṇāśramadharmāṇāmaikāntyavirōdhāt triṣvapi yōgēṣu tatparityaga: prāpta itpatrāha . atra tribhisaṃgama ityarthatō buddhayā vibhajyānvētavya[:]m . ayamabhiprāya:-niyatasya (gī. 18.7) yataḥpravṛttiḥ (gī. 18.46)  ācāraprabhavaḥ (bhā. ānu. 254. 139)  varṇāśramācāravatā (vi. 3, 8. 9) ityādibhirvaṇāśramadharmētikartavyatākatvasiddhēḥ, agnīndrādiśabdānāmapi pratardanavidyānyāyēna taccharīrakaparamātmaparyantatvānusandhānāt  sākṣādapyavirōdhaṃ jaiminiḥ (bra. 1. 2. 29) iti nyāyēna yajñāgraharādhyāyōkta (bhā, mō, 349) prakriyayā ca sākṣātpratipādakatvēna vā tattatkarmaṇāmapi paramapuruṣārādhanatvasaṃbhavāt , tadanuṣṭhāturananyārādhakatvasiddhēraikāntyaṃ pratiṣṭhitamiti . ētēna karmayōgēäpi nityanaimittikānāmitikartavyatātvaṃ sūcitam . tathā  sarvēäpyētē yajñavidaḥ (4. 30) iti ślōkē bhāṣyam- [daiva] dravyayajñaprabhṛtiprāṇāyāmaparyantēṣu karmayōgabhēdēṣu svasamīhitēṣu pravṛttā ētē sarvē saha yajñaiḥ prajāssṛṣṭvā (3.10) ityabhihitamahāyajñapūrvakanityanaimittikakarmarūpayajñavidastanniṣṭhāstata ēva kṣapitakalmaṣā yajñaśiṣṭāmṛtēna śarīradhāraṇaṃ kurvanta ēva karmayōgē vyāpṛtāssanātanaṃ brahma yāntīti .  ēvaṃ bahuvidhā yajñāḥ (4.32) ityatra cōktam– ēvaṃ hi bahuprakārāḥ. karmayōgāḥ brahmaṇō mukhē vitatā:-ātmayāyāthātmyāvāptisādhanatayā sthitāḥ . tānuktalakṣaṇānuktabhēdānkarmayōgān sarvān karmajān viddhi—aharaharanuṣṭhīyamānanityanaimittikakarmajān viddhīti .  bhōktāraṃ yajñatapasām (5.29) iti ślōkamavatārayaṃścaivamāha- uktasya nityanaimittikakamēṃ tikartavyatākasya karmayōgasya yōgaśiraskasya suśakatāmāhēti .

atha trayāṇāṃ yōgānāṃ parabhaktijananē pratyagātmadarśanarūpamavāntaravyāpāraṃ sahētukamāha- ātmēti . yōgōätra samādhirūpamantaḥkaraṇaikāgrayam, tatsādhyasākṣātkārō dṛṣṭiḥ . nanu yadyapi karmayōgasya jñānayōgavyavadhānamantarēṇāpi

ātmāvalōkanasādhanatvaṃ pūrvamēvōktam ; tathāäpi bhaktiyōgasya tatsādhakatvamayuktam, tasyātmāvalōkanapūrvakatvāditi cēt, maivam ; bhaktiniṣṭhāyā ēva pavabhēdēna sarvōpapattēḥ jñānadarśanaprāptīnāmaviśēṣēṇa bhaktisādhyatvamucyatē . tañca parvabhēdamantarēṇa nōpapadyatē . ata ēva hyātmāvalōkanānantaraṃ  madbhaktiṃ labhatē parām (18. 54) itiṃ paraśabdēna viśēṣyatē . ata ātmāvalōkanarahitasyāpyadyatanabhaktānāmiva stutinamaskārakīrtanādiniṣṭhayā sēvārūpatvādabhivyaktayā bhaktiśabdābhilapyaya ātmāvalōkanamupapadyatē . darśitaśca parāvarabhaktivibhāgō vēdārthasaṃgrahai- sōäyaṃ parabrahmabhūtaḥ puruṣōttamaḥ niratiśayapuṇyasañcayakṣīṇāśēṣajanmōpacitapāparāśēḥ paramapuruṣacaraṇāravindaśaraṇāgatijanitatadābhimukhyasya sadācāryōpadēśōpabṛṃhitaśāstrādhigatatattvayāthātmyāvabōdhapūrvakāharaharupacīyamānaśamadamatapaśśauca kṣamārjavabhayābhayasthānavivēkadayāhiṃsādyātmaguṇōpētasya varṇāśramōcitaparamapuruṣārādhanavēpanityanaimittikakarmōpasaṃhṛtiniṣiddhaparihāraniṣṭhasya paramapuruṣacaraṇāravindayugalanyastātmātmīyasya tadbhaktikāritānavaratastutismṛtinamaskṛtiyatanakīrtanaguṇaśravaṇavacanadhyānārcanapraṇāmādiprītaparamakāruṇikapuruṣōttama prasādavidhvastasvāntadhvāntasya ananyaprayōjanānavarataniratiśayapriyaviśadatamapratyakṣatāpannānudhyānarūpabhaktyēkalabhyaḥ . taduktaṃ paramagurubhirbhagavadyāmunācāryapādaiḥ- ubhayaparikarmitasvāntasya aiēaikāntikātyantikabhaktiyōgalabhyaḥ (ā. si) itīti .25.

nirastanikhilājñānō dṛṣṭvāäätmānaṃ parānugam . pratilabhya parāṃ bhaktiṃ tayaivāpnōti tatpadam . 26 .

ēvaṃ yathādhikārē parigṛhītaisribhirātmāvalōkanasiddhidvārā parabhaktyutpādanaprakāraṃ parabhaktērēva prakṛṣṭāyāḥ paramaprāptisādhanatvaṃ ca darśayati-nirastēti .. upāyavirōdhisarvajñānanivṛttiriha nirastanikhilājñāna ityanēna vivakṣita.. parānugam -parānucaraṃ, paraśēṣataikarasamityarthaḥ . yathōcyatē  nāyaṃ dēvō na martyō vā na tiryak sthāvarōäpi vā . jñānānandamayastvātmā śēpō hi paramātmanaḥ .. iti . āha ca sarvajñō mantrarājapadastōtrē- dāsabhūtāssvatassarvē hyātmānaḥ paramātmanaḥ . atōähamapi tē dāsa iti matvā namāmyaham .. iti . pratilabhya-paramātmasakāśātprāpyētyarthaḥ . tayaivaparamabhaktirūpavipākāpannayēti śēṣaḥ . atra ēkārēṇa nairapēkṣyamavyavahitatvaṃ ca sūcyatē . tatpadaṃ tañcaraṇam , padyata iti vyutpatyā padaṃ muktaprāpyatayā siddhaṃ paramapuruṣasyāprākṛtaṃ sthānam , svarūpaṃ vā . tadētat ślōkadvayēna gīyatē– brahmabhūtaḥ prasannātmā na śōcati nō kāṅkṣati . samassarvēṣu bhūtēṣu madbhaktiṃ labhatē parām .. bhaktyā māmabhijānāti yāvānyaścāsmi tattvataḥ . tatō māṃ tattvatō jñātvā viśatē tadanantaram . (18. 54, 55) iti . 26 .

bhaktiyōgastadarthī cētsamagraiśvaryasādhakaḥ . ātmārthī cēt trayōäpyētē tatkaivalyasya sādhakāḥ . 27 .

ēvaṃ bhaktērmōkṣasādhanatvamuktam , saiva madhyamaṣaṭkōktaprakārēṇāciddvyapariṇāmaviśēṣānubhavarūpasyaiśvaryasyāpi sādhikētyāha–bhaktīti . ēkasya kathaṃ parasparaviruddhayōrbandhamōkṣayōssādhanatvamityatrōktam-tadarthī cēditi . ēkasyaiva tatphalarāgavaśādvicitraphalasādhanatvaṃ  sarvēbhyaḥ kāmēbhyō jyōtiṣṭōmaḥ ityādiṣvapi prasiddham . brahmādipradēyaiścaryēbhyaḥ samadhikatvamiha samagratvam . dṛṣṭaṃ ca lōkē samrāṭsāmantasēvayōssiddhitāratamyam . na ca hiraṇyagarbhādayō hiraṇyagarbhadipadaṃ pradātuṃ prabhavanti, svayamēva hyuktaṃ brahmaṇā  prājāpatyaṃ tvayā karma mayi sarvaṃ nivēśitam (rā. u. 104. 7) iti . anyatra cōktam- yugakōṭisahasrāṇi viṣṇumārādhya padmabhūḥ . punasrailōkyadhātṛtvaṃ prāptavāniti śuśrumaḥ .. (iti. sa. 14, 8) ityādi . raudrasyāpi padasya bhagavatsamārādhanaprāptatvamāmnāyatē – anya dēvasya mīḍhuṣō vayā viṣṇōrēpasya prabhṛthē havirbhaḥ . vidē hi rudrō rudriyaṃ mahitvaṃ yāsiṣṭaṃ vartiraśvināvirāvat .. (ṛ 5 a. 4 a. 7. va) iti . asya svētarasamastavyāvṛttātiśayatayā śrutyādiprasiddhasya, dēvasya – anitarasādhāraṇātyadbhutāpratihatakrīḍāvijigīṣāvyavahāradhyutistutiprabhṛtinityaniravadyaniratiśayāna [nda] ntamaṅgalaguṇamahōdadhēḥ . mīḍhuṣaḥ- miha sēcanē, sēktuḥ dātuḥ ; udārasyētyarthaḥ . vaya:– avayavatayā śākhābhūtaḥ, śarīratayāäṅgabhūta ityarthaḥ .  vayāśśākhā iti yāskaḥ . viṣṇōḥ-sarvavyāpanaśīlatayā sarvāntaryāmibhūtasya nārāyaṇasya .  vṛkṣa iva stabdhō divi tiṣṭhatyēkastēnēdaṃ pūrṇam (nā.) iti hi śrayatē . ēṣasya ēṣaṇīyasya, prārthanīyasya, abhimataphalārthaṃ yācanīyasyētyarthaḥ . [prabhṛthē] avabhṛtē havirbhiḥ sarvamēdhākhyē yāgē viṣṇavē samarpitaiḥ svātmaparyantairhavirbhiḥ, vidē hi, vidē-lēbhē, hīti–hētau, prasiddhau vā . rudriyaṃ-rudrasya saṃbandhi, svasaṃbandhītyarthaḥ . yadvā brahmarudrēndrādīnāṃ pravāhānāditvāt rudrajātisaṃbandhitayā prathitam . mahitvaṃ-mahimānamityarthaḥ . ētadupavṛhṇābhiprāyēṇa cōktaṃ mahābhāratē-* mahādēvassarvamēdhē mahātmā hutvāäätmānaṃ dēvadēvō babhūva (rā. 20. 12) iti .  ētau dvau vibudhaśrēṣṭhau prasādakrōdhajau smṛtau . tadādarśitapanthānau sṛṣṭisaṃhārakāriṇau . (bhā, mō. 342. 19) ityādibhiśca sarvatrāyamarthaḥ prasiddha, ityalaṃ vistarēṇa . ēvamacittattvānubhavarūpaiśvaryasādhakatvaṃ bhaktaruktam , atha cētanarūpātmatattvānubhavarūpārvācīnakaivalyasya sādhanatvaṃ tasyāḥ pradarśayan jñānayōgakarmayōgayōrapyarthasvabhāvātparamapuruṣaprītidvārēṇa tatsādhanatvaṃ yuktamityabhiprāyēṇāha-ātmēti . acidanubhavādīśvarānubhavāñca viviktasvarūpōänubhava iha takaivalyaśabdēna vivakṣitaḥ . atra ca vaktavyaṃ sarvaṃ tātparyaṃcandrikāyāṃ prapañcitamasmābhiḥ . 27 .

aikāntyaṃ bhagavatyēṣāṃ samānamadhikāriṇām . yāvatprāpti parārthī cēttadēvātyantamaśnutē . 28 .

ēvamatiśayitaiśvaryakaivalyabhagavatprāptayarthināmadhikartavyāyā bhaktēsārabhūtaṃ sādhāraṇaṃ rūpa niṣkarṣayati . aikāntyamiti . aikāntyamatrānanyadēvatākatvam .  caturvidhā mama janā bhaktā ēva hi tē [ma]smṛtāḥ . tēṣāmēkāntinaśśrēṣṭhāstē caivānanyadēvatāḥ . (bhā. āśva.) ityanugītāvacanam jñānināmaikāntyasya nityatvābhiprāyēṇa . atra tu yāvatsvābhimataphalalābhamaikāntyaṃ samānamityucyatē . ētēna karmayōgajñānayōgāvasthayōravyaikāntyaṃ siddham ; sarvatra bhagavatprapattipūrvakatvāvaśyaṃbhāvāt . ēvamacidanubhavātsvānubhavāñca vilakṣaṇamōśvarānubhavamabhyarthayamānasyādhikāryantaravyāvṛttātyantikatvalakṣaṇabhaktivaiśiṣṭyāvyavadhānēnātyantikatatprāptimāha- yāvaditi . phalāntarasaṅgarūpāntarāyānupahataścēdavyavadhānēna bhagavantaṃ prāpya punassaṃsāraṃ na prāpnōtītyarthaḥ . padābhiprāyēṇa taditi napuṃsakatvam .28 .

jñānī tu paramaikāntī tadāyattātmajīvanaḥ . tatsaṃślēṣaviyōgaikasukhaduḥkhastadēkadhīḥ . 29 .

atha  yē tu śiṣṭāsrayō bhaktāḥ phalakāmā hi tē matāḥ . sarvē cyavanadharmāṇaḥ prativuddhastu mōkṣabhāk . (bhā. mō. 342. 35) ityanugītasya  yāvatprāpti parārthī cēt (gī. saṃ 28) ityuktasyādhikāriṇōänanyasādhāraṇaṃ viśēṣamanuṣṭhānaphalaprāptayōśca prakāraṃ tatraiva ca tātparyēṇāsya śāstrasyāpavargaśāsratvaṃ caturbhirvivṛṇōti–jñānī tviti . ētēna  jñānī tvātmaiva mē matam , (7. 18)  maccittā madgataprāṇāḥ (10. 9) ityādikaṃ smāritam . paramaścāsāvēkāntī cēti paramaikāntī, ēkāntiṣu uttama ityarthaḥ . parama ēkāntōänanyatvamasyāstōti vā . na kēvalamananyadēvatākatvam , api tvananyaprayōjanatvamapyasyāstītyarthaḥ . saṃślēṣōätra manōvākkāyasādhyatadabhimataśāstracōditasaparyāmukhēna . viyōgōäpi tadvicchēdaḥ . yadāhurmaharṣayaḥ  yanmuhūrtaṃ kṣaṇaṃ vāäpi vāsudēvō na cintyatē . sā hānistanmahacchidaṃ sā bhrāntissā ca vikriyā .. ēkasminnapyatikrāntē muhūtē dhyānacarjitē . dasyubhirmuṣitēnēca yuktamākrandituṃ bhṛśam .. iti . tasminnēva dhīścintā yasya tadēkadhīḥ . 29 .

bhagavaddhayānayōgōkti vandanastutikīrtanaiḥ . labdhātmā tadgataprāṇamanōbuddhīndriyakriyaḥ . 30 .

| dhyānamihānucintanam . yōgaḥ-tanmūlamavalōkanam , viśiṣṭakṣētrādivartinaḥ parasyābhigamanaṃ vā . yadāhuḥ- pādau . nṛṇāṃ tau drumajanmabhājau kṣētrāṇi nānuvrajatō harēryau (bhāga. 2. 3. 22),  yōgastu dvividhaḥ prōktō bāhyamābhyantaraṃ tathā . bāhyaṃ bahiḥkriyāpēkṣamāntaraṃ dhyānamucyatē .. iti . ukti:-śuśruṣubhyōädhikāribhyaḥ pratipādanam . vandanam -tribhiḥ karaṇaiḥ praṇāma ityarthaḥ . stutiḥ –guṇakathanam . kīrtanam -tattadguṇavibhavacēṣṭitādigarbhāṇāṃ tadasādhāraṇanāmadhēyānāṃ saṃkīrtanam . tairlabdhātmā –anyathā avastubhūtamātmānaṃ manyamāna iti bhāvaḥ ; praśithilakaraṇakalēbarādikō bhavēditi vā . prāṇādīnāṃ kriyāyāstadgatatvaṃ tadanubhavābhāvē śaithilyāditi bhāvyam . athavā  yatkarōṣi yadaśnāsi (gī. 9. 27) iti nyāyēna svabhāvārthaśāstraprāptānāṃ karmaṇāṃ bhagavati samarpaṇam . manaḥ -saṃkalpavikalpavṛttikamantaḥkaraṇam, tasyādhyavasāyātmikā vṛttiḥ– buddhiḥ . yadvā, tadēvātrādhyavasāyavṛttiviśiṣṭaṃ buddhirityucyatē . yathōktaṃ śārīrakabhāṣyē  adhyavasāyābhimānacintāvṛttibhēdānmana ēvabuddhayahaṃkāracittaśabdaiḥ vyapadiśyatē (2. 4, 5) iti . indriyaśabdōätra gōbalīvardanyāyādbāhyēndriyaviṣayaḥ .. 30 .

nijakarmādi bhaktyantaṃ kuryāt prītyaiva kāritaḥ . upāyatāṃ parityajya nyasyēddēcē tu tāmabhīḥ .31.

ēvaṃvidhasyādhikāriṇaḥ, satataṃ kīrtayantō mām (9. 14) ityuktaprakriyayā varṇāśramadharmāṇāmapi lōpassyādityatrāha–nijakarmēti . nityadāsyaikasvabhāvasya muktasyēvāsyāpi tatparicaraṇaṃ tadājñānuvartanaprītyaiva yathāśāstraṃ yathādhikāraṃ yathāvasaraṃ ca sarvaṃ ghaṭatē . anyathā- sandhyāhīnōäśucirnityamanarhassarvakarmasu (da. smṛ) ityādibhirbhagavadarcanādāvapyanadhikāraprasaṅgāt . tasmādyōgyatāsiddhayarthaṃ labdhāṃśasya śaithilyaparihārārthamuttarōttarōpacayārthaṃ sudṛḍhasiddhōpāyasyāpi svānuṣṭhānēna parapravartanarūpabhagavadājñānupālanārthamavaśyakartavyānāmapi karmaṇāṃ vidhiparāmarśamantarēṇa priyatamasuhṛtputrādyupalālanavatprītirēva jñāninaḥ prayōjikēti bhāvaḥ . tathā ca śiṣyatē- yathā yuvānaṃ rājānaṃ yathā ca madahastinam . yathā priyātithiṃ yōgyaṃ bhagavantaṃ tathāärcayēt . (śāṃ. smṛ) iti .  yathā ca putraṃ dayitaṃ tathaivōpacarēddharim .. iti saṃhitāntaram .. ēvakārābhiprētamanyadapi vivṛṇōti–upāyatāmiti. muktavyāpāranyāyēna svayaṃ svādutvāt kṣaṇikasya kālāntarabhāviphalasādhanatvānupapattidarśanāñca nāsya svavyāpārē mōkṣōpāyatābuddhirapi syāditi bhāvaḥ . atastaistairārādhitō bhagavānēva hi sarvatrōpāyaḥ, na punaḥ kṣaṇikaṃ tatkriyāsvarūpaṃ tatsādhyaṃ kiṃcittatprītyatiriktamaprāmāṇikamapūrvādikaṃ vā . atastasminnēva  māmēkaṃ śaraṇaṃ vraja (18. 66) iti vaktaryupāyatābuddhiḥ kāryētyāha-nyasyēditi . anāśritānāṃ bandhanamāśritānāṃ mōcanaṃ ca bhagavataḥ svamāhātmyānuguṇalīlayaivētyabhiprāyēṇāha- dēva iti . tē ha vai dēvamiti śaraṇyaviṣayaśrutisūcanārthamatra dēvaśabdaḥ . apārakāruṇyasauśīlyavātsalyaudāryādiguṇanidhau  mitrabhāvēna saṃprāptam , (rā. yu. 18. 3)  sakṛdēva – prapannāya, (rā. yu. 18. 33)  api cētsudurācāraḥ (gī. 9. 30) (gī. 9. 31)  kṣipraṃ bhavati dharmātmā, * manmanā bhanna madbhaktaḥ (9. 34) * sarvadharmānparityajya (18. 66) iti vaktari tasminnēva aśaraṇyāraṇyē svayamupāyatayāävasthitē svāparādhatatsvātantryyatatsaṃkalpakiṃkarahiraṇyagarbharudēndrādikṣudrēśvarādinimittabhayaṃ na kartavyamityabhiprāyēṇāha- abhīriti . 31 .

ēkāntātyantadāsyaikaratistatpadamāpnuyāt . tatpradhānamidaṃ śāstramiti gītārthasaṃgrahaḥ . 32 .

ēvaṃ vyavasthitasya yathāmanōrathamantarāyānupahatasya phalasiddhimāha-ēkāntēti . uktaṃ ca paramaikāntināṃ paricaraṇaprakāramanukramya tasya nirvighnatvaṃ śrīpauṣkarē – pravṛttikālādārabhya ātmalābhāvasānikam . yatrāvakāśō vighnānāṃ vidyatē na kadācana . iti . ētadēvābhiprētyōktaṃ śrīsācvatē- saṅkalpādēva bhagavān tattvatō bhāvitātmanām . vratāntamakhilaṃ kālaṃ sēcayatyamṛtēna tu .. [jñātvaivaṃ baddhalakṣyēṇa] jñātvaiva bandhaṃ martyēna bhavitavyaṃ sadaiva hi . prāptayē sarvakāmānāṃ saṃsārabhayabhīruṇā .. iti . ataḥ  śrūyatē khalu gōvindē bhaktimudvahatāṃ nṛṇām . saṃsāranyūnatābhītāstridaśā: paripanthinaḥ .. satyaṃ śatēna vighnānāṃ sahasrēṇa tathā tapaḥ. vighnāyutēna gōvindē nṛṇāṃ bhaktirnivāryatē .. (vi. dha. 2.25) ityādikaṃ tu para [ma] bhakyavasthātaḥ prācīnāvasthāviṣayaṃ nētavyam . atra bhūmavidyāyāmiva aiśvaryādyarvācīnapuruṣārthapratipādanaṃ paramapuruṣaprāptirūpapradhānatamapuruṣārthapāramyasamarthanārthatayā . uktaṃ ca śrīsātvattē  pratyayārthaṃ ca mōkṣasya siddhayassaprakīrtitāḥ . iti . atō mōkṣasādhanatvamēvāsya śāstrasyētyabhiprāyēṇāha . taditi . atra yathārhaṃ nyāsōpāsanarūpaprāpakaniṣṭhāprāptṛtayā nirdiṣṭaḥ paramaikāntī vā tatprāpyaṃ vā tacchabdēna parāmṛśyatē. athātra saugatārhatādi [mata]sagandhānāṃ śaṅkarādigranthānāṃ bhagavadabhiprāyaviruddhatākhyāpanāya uktasaṃgrahaprakārēṇa śiṣyāṇāṃ yathāvasthitasamastagītārthaprapañcāvagāhanāya ca nigamayati- itīti . itthamēva sattvaniṣṭhasaṃpradāyaparamparāgatassamīcīnō gītārthaḥ . na punaḥ kudṛṣṭibhirunnītaḥ . sa caiṣa vayōgamahimaculakitaparamapuruṣavibhūtiyugalabhagavannāthamuniniyōgānuvartiśrīmadrāma miśrasakāśādbahuśāstravidbhirasmābhirbahuśaḥśrutasya bhagavadgītārthaprapañcēsya saṃgraha iti mumukṣubhissaṃgrāhyatama iti bhāvaḥ . 32 .

sāraṃ phalgunasārathīyavacasāṃ śrīyāmunēyōddhṛtaṃ vispaṣṭairiti vēṅkaṭēśvarakavirvyācaṣṭa bhāṣyākṣaraiḥ . yadvādēṣu kudṛṣṭibāhyakuhanākōlāhalāskandibhirjaṅghālairjayaghōṣaṇāghaṇaghaṇairvidrāṇanidrā diśaḥ ..
